Stalactites and Stalagmites
A fascinating natural spectacle
Castellana Grotte, a town in the hinterland of the province of Bari, just over 10 kilometres from the trullos of Alberobello and the coast of Polignano a Mare, has a treasure - the most beautiful karst cave in the world.
Castellana Grotte is just 15 minutes by car from Almapetra Trulli Resort, an excellent opportunity to visit this place, which is famous all over the world for its underground caves. The slow and tireless action of nature has generated stalactites and stalagmites.
Ask us anything you like about it, we will be happy to help you organize a cave exploring tour of Castellana. The caves are just a short distance from the town.
